Alyse Bruszewski (5'8) Wheeler -Had an outstanding year last season. Was one of the top freshman in the Porter County Conference. Averaged 10.5 ppg last year. Will be expected to lead a young Wheeler team this season.

Kiki Bytnar (5'6) Calumet - This hard-nosed backcourt player gave a shot in the arm to an ailing Lady Warriors program last season.. She is an excellent ball handler who can slash to the basket or pull up for a short jumper. Selected to the LAC All-Conference team last season. Averaged 12.6 ppg last year. 

Catherine (Cat) Campbell (5'7) Chesterton -Saw extensive duty at the point last season in the tough DAC. With a year under her belt, she should be ready for a break out season. Will be expected to pick up more scoring responsibility. Averaged 4 ppg last year.

Karima Davies (5'11) Gary West Side - Played big in the paint last season for Sectional runner-up Gary West. With the departure of Kim Smith (Miami,OH), she will be expected to take over the post. Averaged 5 ppg and 6 rpg last year. 

Julie DeMuth (5'11) Highland - Made a name for herself on Highland's semi-state team last season. Played with confidence and was a force on the boards.  Look for Julie to take up right where her sister Indiana All Star Jenny left off. Averaged 7.8 ppg and 6.4 rpg last season. Named to the Hall of Fame Classic All-Tournament  and LAC All-Conference teams last year.

Belinda Drake (5'4) Gary West Side - There's a lot of talk around the Region about this young lady. She saw extensive action last year at the point guard position. With her shake-'n-bake moves, she added excitement to the Lady Cougars game last year. Averaged 7 ppg and 3 apg last year.

Jherika Harvell (5'4) Michigan City -One of the top young point guards in the Duneland Conference. Excellent defender who has great quickness. Should be one of the top players in the DAC for the next several years. Averaged 6.3 ppg and 4.2 spg last season.

Lauren Hutton (5'4) Valparaiso -Saw a lot of action at the guard position as a freshman last year for Coach Greg Kirby's Lady Vikings. That doesn't happen too often at Valpo, so they must be expecting big things in the future. Will most likely share point guard duties this season with senior Brittany Landreth.

Marshay Jolly (5'9) Merrillville - Coach Joe Poteet had been waiting for this young lady to get to the hallways of MHS and we saw why last season. The only freshman named to DAC All-Conference Team last season.  Will be expected to lead the Lady Pirates this season. Averaged 10.3 ppg last year.

Nikki McDonald (5'8) Portage - Had a break out game at the Penn Invitational. Excellent perimeter shooter who will only get better this season playing consistent minutes. Coach Renee Turpa expects Nikki to be another good one who will put her name on the long list of Lady Indian stars . 

Rebecca Papach (5'9) Whiting - Made quite an impression last year as a freshman. Will be expected to step up and become the scoring leader this year for Coach Laub's Lady Oilers. Averaged 8.6 ppg and 5.3 rpg last season.

Nicole Rapier (5'9) Hammond Noll - One of the Lady Warriors top scorers and rebounders last year. Will be expected to lead the team this season. Averaged 7.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg last year as a freshman.

Lisa Schulfur (6'0) Lowell - A tall and athletic player who is also a starter for the Red Devils varsity volleyball team. She gave Lowell some much needed size in the post last season. If she continues to improve, she'll be one of the top post players in the LAC this year.

Linsey Smith (5'10) Lake Central -A tall and athletic guard who put up some good numbers last season for Coach Tom Megyesi and the Lady Indians. Expected to provide leadership and scoring for this year's team. Averaged 7.1 ppg last season.

Meagan Walczak (5'9) Hobart -A tall and athletic wing who saw a lot of action last year for the Lady Brickies. Expected to step up and play more minutes this year and could find herself in a starting position.
