Coaches Tom May and Kem Zolman talk things over as the captains from both teams get pregame instructions from the referees. Crown Point guard Alex Webster attacks for the first two points of the game on a baseline drive. Crown Point's Webster (15) attempts to draw the charge on Wawasee's Shanna Zolman in the first quarter. Zolman presses Webster as she comes up the court with the ball.

Zolman makes her move against the pressure defense of Webster. Webster puts one up in traffic. Webster looks for an open teammate on the perimeter. Frosh Cassie Pruzin (11) draws the defense and kicks out the pass to waiting senior Webster.

Freshman Jill Weiand scores over the top of Megan Wallen to bring the Bulldogs within 1 point early in the fourth quarter. Zolman gets ready to box out against senior Ashley Plumley on a Wawasee free-throw attempt. Freshman Pruzin goes in to get the rebound, but picks up her fifth foul as Zolman pulls in the rebound. Shanna Zolman accepts the MVP award for the game.
