Twenty-six of the top basketball players in the state have been selected to grace the cover of High School Sports Publications (HSSP) inaugural edition of the Indiana High School Basketball Guide, which debuts this November. All will be honored Sunday, September 10, at the new NCAA Hall of Champions in Indianapolis.

The day begins early, with the athletes being dropped off at 8:45 to board a shuttle to Butler University and historic Hinkle Fieldhouse. There they will be met by former Purdue great and current NBA star, Glenn Robinson of the Milwaukee Bucks. A group photo will be taken while standing at center court. This picture will form the backdrop for the cover of the new HSSP guide.

After the photo shoot, the players will return to the NCAA to rejoin their coaches and parents for a banquet sponsored by Indianapolis Area Meijer Stores. Attorney General Karen Freeman-Wilson is scheduled to be the keynote speaker. After dining, speeches, and introduction of the athletes, a panel of NCAA experts will be available for a Q&A session with the members of the audience. When the banquet is over, the athletes and their parents will tour the new Hall of Champions, compliments of the NCAA.

HSSP is proud to enter into this new endeavor with our Partners In Excellence -- the NCAA, Indiana Attorney General Karen Freeman-Wilson, Meijer Stores and 900 other Partners In Excellence who place their trust in HSSP each year.
