We picked up this idea from several other sources, but thought it would be fun to do here. The 2008-09 RRR Winner's Cup will pass "hands" from winner to winner throughout the 2008-09 season, starting with the first game of the season. The first official game was between Linton-Stockton and Monrovia on Monday night, and it was a great one with Linton-Stockton taking a 54-47 overtime win.

 

Linton-Stockton will hold the cup until the Miners lose their first game of the season and then the Cup will pass on to the team that beats them. And like the old shampoo commercial explained... and so on, and so on, and so on, etc.

 

You can keep track of the Cup's progress here. We will see where the cup ends up at the end of the season, whether in 1A, 2A, 3A or 4A. In any event, the cup WILL end up in the hands of at least one state champion!
