2001-2002: Carissa has done a physical
transformation. She's lost 50 pounds and is in much better shape after
a year of conditioning. She has worked on her game and she will be a
college player. We're ranked sixth in the state in one poll. I'd
be happy if we were in the top 40 right now, but we're ranked up there
because everybody knows we have Carissa and Alex.
2000-2001: Carissa is a transfer from Kentucky who
everyone is talking about at CP. She has started since seventh grade
(that's legal in Kentucky) on her high school team. She will only
improve as the season progresses and we get her in top shape. Carissa
has fine post skills and strong size in the paint. She is a nice girl
attempting to adapt to the fast lane in Crown Point after coming from rural
Kentucky, but she possesses a strong work ethic and she has had to work for
all she has.
