After falling behind 9-0 in the first two minutes of the game, the Bulldogs finally kicked it into gear, going on a 29-2 run midway through the first half to take command of the game.  A solo 7-point jump start by Amanda Bernard at the start of the second half got the 'Dogs going again and they never looked back.  CP was up by as many as 36 points in the fourth before subbing in the JV starters to finish out the game.

The Bulldogs played an excellent team game, with 21 assists on the night. Leading scorer for Crown Point was junior Alex Webster with 18, followed by senior Sarah Zondor and junior Carissa Triplett, each with 14. CP's starting five was responsible for 60 of the Bulldogs' points on the night. Leading rebounder was Webster with 7, while senior Nikki Borys had 6 rebounds, 5 steals and 6 assists to go along with her 7 points for an all-around effort.  Junior Ashley Plumley came off the bench in the first half to give CP a big lift with 4 steals and 3 assists in 5 minutes spanning the first and second quarters.

LaPorte was led by Katie Beckman with 8, despite only playing just over two quarters before an injury to a knee removed her from the game for the night. LaPorte scoring ace Brooke Reed was held to 5 points on the night by the one-on-one tandem defense of Webster and Bernard. Slicer freshman Kristen Drabyn finished with 7.
