I am 12 years old and in playing 6th grade ball; friends and relatives are already traveling 60 miles or more to see me play every game. I'm told that I am good enough to be playing on the 8th grade boys team. I believe that basketball will be a major part of my life.

IT IS A SHAME THAT YOU PROMOTE GIRLS THAT ARE CLOSE TO YOUR REGION WHEN THERE ARE GIRLS THAT ARE BETTER THAT AREN'T AS CLOSE TO YOU AS HEAD TO HEAD NORTH JUDSON HAS BEAT BOONE GROOVE THREE YEARS IN A ROW. WHITNEY COLE IS A BETTER BASKETBALL PLAYER BECAUSE SHE PLAYS TEAM FIRST THEN INDIVIDUAL SECOND AND AS COLLEGE COACHES TELL ME SHE WAS THE BEST BASKETBALL PLAYER ON THE FLOOR DURING THEIR ENTIRE SEASON AND THERE GAME WITH BOONE GROOVE

Hello again, I just wanted to bring you to date about my daughter Ashley Gates. Recently she was named to the All tourney team at the Big eight Shootout at McCutcheon. She scored 19 points against Heritage Christian at Marshall's, Martin Luther King Tourney at Chicago, and 24 points and 6 asists against South Bend St. Joe last Saturday. She is the high point leader on her team, doing alot of things on and off the court as a leader. Ashley is carrying a 4.16 gpa with her advanced placement (AP) English, Calcalus, and Phyics. She may not be getting the recognition she deserves but as you can see, I sure am proud of her.

Love girls basketball. Been actively coaching young kids for several years. I enjoy visiting this website, and would like to see more coverage on some of the teams that are south of the Gary, Merrilville area. We are located between Lafayette and Merrilville and don't seem to get the coverage we deserve. Even if it's negative it's better than nothing.

The 2005 Maui Summer Classic Youth Basketball Tournament is off to a great start and will offer the same great events. Several teams have already signed up early and many more have expressed serious interest in attending the 2005 tournament.
The Maui Summer Classic Youth Basketball Tournament is comprised of a Youth Division and a High School Division. The Youth division includes boys' and girls' 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. The High School Division includes 9th grade, Junior Varsity and High School Varsity for both boys and girls. The Divisions are determined by the current grade at the time of the tournament not the grade they will be in the fall of 2005. Graduating High School seniors are eligible to participate for College recruiting purposes. Teams can be either Youth Club teams, AAU teams, Select Teams or High School teams.
Tournament Sanction and comprehensive sports insurance will again be provided by the National Youth Sports Organization USSSA. The Maui Summer Classic Youth and High School Tournament will again be organized by Michael Bradley's On The Ball Youth Basketball organization and the County of Maui Parks. "On the Ball Youth Basketball" has been involved in providing many successful Youth and High School basketball events for the past 16 years. For more information visit www.mauisummerclassic.com

My daughter plays for The Family, out of Indianapolis and I was just looking at some basketball links and came across this one. I would be interested in some message boards to go to for Indiana girls b-Ball. We have really enjoyed playing ball in Indiana, it is not as big in Ky and AAU is not very popular. My daughter is Merideth Marsh and has played point for The Family. Thanks again and have enjoyed your site.

Thanks for your work. I've started to use your site more over the past few months to keep up with recruiting. I'm the SID for Butler's women's team so this site is a big help. Major downfall of my job is having to put up with Josh Rattray when we're on the road. Thanks again and feel free to email me if you need any info on any of Butler's sports.

I really enjoy your website. I visit it often. As the Head Coach at Indiana State University I was disappointed to see that we were not mentioned in your mini RRR poll regarding what state teams besides Notre Dame and Purdue would be the best next season. I believe our strongest teams will be this season and next. We're 38-21 the past two seasons.

Hands down South Bend Saint Joe will have the best program the next three years including the last two. They will have gone now two straight uears to the state finals, and will go the next two for sure with Notre Dame committed Melissa Lechlichner, Valpo committed Aimee Litka, and Frehman sensations Sydney Smallbone and Kristen Dockery, and not to mention junoir Katie St. Clair. WHAT A HELL OF A LINEUP!

Great site! Keeps you updated with the local and statewide talent. What happen to the section "who to watch for in the upcoming season", I thought that was good. It definetly made me watch out for that person in the upcoming season. You should add that back. I know Indiana has some very talented young women entering into highschool next year and the years to come.

I love the websight. It's nice to see that someone really cares about girls highschool basketball. For the past two years, I've watched many girls basketball games. The player who stands out every time I watch her is Karissa Walter. She is a natural talent and she is only getting better! She can do it all. She makes her team much better than they really are. I believe she's one of the best guards in the state. On her own she can break any press, make any pass(if only her teammates could convert), and is getting better at shooting. Next year, watch out.

Thank you for your informative website that follows girls basketball as well as the boys. I just want to leave you with a bit of information. Ashley Gates from Gary West Side outscored anyone on her team last year and is leading the way so far this year. She may not have all the glitz and glitter, but the stats is usually the proof of the pudding.

Does Plymouth High School fit into the RRR coverage? The PHS 2005 team shoud be strong and the 13U AAU team has traveled extensively. Coach Cox should have improving teams throughout the next 4-5 years. Is the Coach respoonsible for promoting players in your future stars listings?
Thank you for your interest in girls sports.
